Located 6km south of Highway 103, Exit 29 on the Villagedale Road, just minutes from Barrington, Sandhills Beach Provincial Park features a beautiful 2.5km white sand beach. At low tide, there are wide sand flats which warm the water when the tide comes back in, making this the perfect place to swim in the Atlantic Ocean.
Spectacular sand dune systems back the beach area. The park hosts numerous picnic tables throughout and has many large grassy open fields, making it the perfect place for family picnic gatherings, family/school reunions and other fun summer functions.
Sandhills is a great location for digging Quahogs (in season), beach combing, discovering sand dollars, sailing and other recreational activities.
Change room facilities, washrooms, cold water taps and an outdoor cold water shower are all provided on site.
To protect the sand dunes, please use marked paths throughout the park.
