Notice - Animal By-Law and Animal Control By-Law.
In accordance with Section 169 of the Municipal Government Act, notice is hereby given that the Barrington Municipal Council at their meeting held January 25, 2021, gave second and final reading to the repeal of By‐law No. 11
“Animals” and the adoption of the newly drafted By‐law No. 11 “Animal Control By‐law”. The newly drafted by‐law provides more detail on what is required when an animal is impounded and how long it will be held.
Repealed By‐law No. 11 “Animals” and the newly drafted By‐law No. 11 “Animal Control By‐law” may be inspected at the Municipal Office, located at 2447, Highway 3, Barrington, NS, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.,Monday – Friday. The repeal of By‐law No. 11 “Animals” and the adoption of the newly drafted By‐law No. 11 “Animal Control By‐law, will become effective as of the date of this publication.
